Robotic Coping and Profiling can make your fabrication process more efficient. This system has been specifically designed for metalwork and fabricators. It is able to work with angle lines, beam drilllines, hydraulic punches, ironworkers as well as band saws, band saws, and coping machines. This is a great way to improve your fabrication processes by taking them from zero to one hundred.
The PCR42 robotic Plasma Cutting Machine does beam coping. Notches, holes and welding preps are performed. Split beams can also be split. Scribes can be used to mark all four faces of H beams, channels, angles, HSS or plates.
Hardened hydraulic jaws with piston allow for material fixing to avoid faults. AFD Flange and Plate Drilling Machines are able to drill and tab, mill and mark with dots. (optional).

FAST PROFILE MEASURINGThe Voortman V808 robotic thermal cutting machine is equipped with the fast, accurate and versatile Panasonic TL-1800G3 coping robot. The torch nozzle of the robot is fitted with a measuring sensor to measure the exact profile dimensions. The difference between actual measured profile dimensions and theoretical dimensions are compensated during the cutting process to ensure the most accurate result possible. To save time, the coping robot only measures the sides of the profile that will actually be processed.
To integrate the machine to an MSI beam line, full automatic profile transport can be provided. Our/The VACAM software controls sensors drag-dogs and liftables for transporting profiles onto and off the outfeed roller conveyor. Select products will automatically be made from the trading lengths. Cross-transports can handle multiple profiles. The machine can operate independently for a considerable time.
After installing a machine or production line, Voortman installs a net of safety measures. These safety measures comprise of light curtains, emergency cords and emergency stop buttons. Voortman has made it one of its priorities to deliver a safe production line, yet not hold up production if the operator needs to enter the safe zone. This is accomplished by using gated light curtains allowing loading and unloading while the machines continue processing, and by delivering remote controls with a kill switch that operators can use when carrying out tasks inside the safety zone.
